We are very excited to announce that Dino`s is, once

To HKHS Families,
We are very excited to announce that Dino's is, once-again, sponsoring a Project Graduation
Dinner Night on Tuesday, May 3rd, from 5 - 8pm. This will be our 3rd Annual! As you may
know, Dino's is usually closed on Tuesday night, but with his amazing generosity, he is opening
up just for us! Dinner will be buffet style, eat-in or take out. $20 for adults, $12 for
students. Cash, check or credit card accepted! There will also be a bake sale with yummy treats
to compliment your dinner! Please look for the fliers and plan to take a night off from cooking!
The Decorating Committee is going crazy making incredible decorations for this year's celebration. They are gathering
on Tuesday evenings (unless school is not in session), from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the art room B-116. Come in through the
doors next to the auditorium. No artistic ability is needed!! And if you can't stay for the whole 2 hours, that's OK. Even
1 hour would be helpful. To get on the email list, please contact Denise Evarts at [email protected].
The Decorating Committee would appreciate any donations of silk flowers and leaves for a special part of their design. If you
have some tucked away that you would like to donate, please email Denise.
In February, you should have received a "postal patron" mailing. Please consider making a contribution. No amount is too
small (or too large!). It costs us approximately $135 per attendee and we don't charge the kids. Many thanks to those that have
already contributed!
A Business Mailing will be going out this month. In this mailing, we ask businesses, both in and out of our towns, for
either monetary donations, donations of food to serve the graduates, or gifts that we can raffle off. If you know of a
business that we should reach out to, please let me know.
Our regular, on-going fundraising efforts:
- Gift cards through shopwithscrip.com - Next deadline is May 3rd.
- Recycling - leave your empty ink cartridges, old digital cameras and cell phones in the bins around the
community.
SPECIAL MESSAGE TO SENIOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
The next 3 months will fly by and graduation will be here before you know it! In May, your senior will receive an
invitation in the mail. Following that, you will receive an information letter concerning Proj Grad.
In an attempt to ease your burden in June, please read the following and act now! We plan to have a memory wall for
photos. But we need photos from the senior parents to fill it. The kids love to looks at these....especially pictures with
their friends. Please send in hard-copy photos (not digital!) in an envelope with "Project Graduation" to the Main
Office. It's easy to get print outs from your phone at any CVS, Walgreens, Walmart etc. Pictures from elementary school,
middle school and high school are great!

5th Installment of Frequently Asked Questions
1.
How many of the seniors go? We always hope to get 100% of them, but end up at about
90%.
2.
What do they do there? They have entertainment all night long! We have a DJ and lots of
inflatable devices for them to play on. We often have a bungee jump, remote control car racing,
and obstacle courses. Every year the “toys” change and we try to get things that fit our
theme. We also have a photo booth, tattoo artist, video games, volleyball, badminton, and ping
pong. We have games in which the graduates can win money prizes. The pool is also open for
several hours, manned by life guards. We also feed the graduates and their guests. There is food
all night long, ranging from pizza, grinders, vegetable and fruit platters, chicken wings, egg rolls
to confections, all night long through breakfast in the morning.
Thank you for helping keep OUR kids safe on Graduation Night! If you have any questions,
please contact me. See below.
