Hot Lunch
Hot Lunch for this week will be a Taco Bar given in honor of Kristen
Kamps’s birthday. The cost is $2.00 paid that day and will be donated
to school.
Cross Country
The final cross country meet of the year is on Monday, October 10 th at
Greenville Lions Park. Mr. List will be able to take all the runners to the
meet.
Volleyball
Congratulations to our volleyball team for winning both of their games
this week against Marinette Middle School and St. Thomas Aquinas
Academy. There is a 5:00pm game next week Monday vs. Coleman at
Trinity.
Mission Offering
Our Mission Focus – WELS Institutional Ministries www.wlim.net
In the first semester this year we will collect mission offerings for WELS
Institutional Ministries. This organization sends chaplains and
volunteers into hospitals, jails, nursing homes, prisons, and other
institutions sharing hope with those who need it most.
Last week’s offering was $51.77. Our total for the semester is $189.69.
Thank you for your generous gifts!
Missions are collected every week on the last day of the school week.
2 Corinthians 9:7 – Each one should give what he has decided in his
heart to give…for God loves a cheerful giver.
Telling the Next Generation: Utilizing our Schools for Outreach Workshop
Telling the Next Generation is a workshop provided by the Wisconsin Lutheran
Synod that serves congregations with planning, assistance, and resources for
implementation of outreach strategies utilizing their Lutheran elementary school
and early childhood ministry.
The workshop is on November 12th from 8:30am-3:00pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran
Church in Appleton and will be no cost to you. Lunch will also be provided.
Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend. If you plan on attending, please
go to our website and RSVP by going to the Signup Genius tab. Registration
deadline is October 28. Please consider attending. This will be very helpful and
valuable to our ministry.
CEA Meeting Minutes
Did you miss the CEA Meeting? Meeting Minutes for our last meeting can be
found on the school website under the Parent Resources tab. We hope you will
make plans to attend the next meeting on November 10th.
LIFT (Ladies In Fellowship Together)
LIFT will meet Tuesday October 18th at 6:30 in the Pastors classroom at school.
Participants will be making cards for missionaries. All supplies will be provided.
