More than 2 1/2 tons of canned food items was collected for the
Orange County Food Bank during the Spring and Fall Concert
Series, which included 16 concert dates offering free
admission with a donation.
During the Second Annual Fall Pet Days, October 3 and 4, nearly
300 pounds of cat and dog food was collected for the Animal
Assistance League of Orange County. Free admission was
offered with the donation of a can of cat or dog food.
To date for 2009, 35 different local non profit organizations and
charities have raised $39.977 from the Bob’s Old Fashioned Ice
Cream weekly fundraiser program. Each group retains 100% of the
proceeds.
Since its inception in 2002, $473,760.50 has been raised through this
program for hundreds of Orange County community groups.
