HISTORY
4. Click either Reverse Mode - Mark All History or
Normal Mode - Start With No History.
POSTING VOTING HISTORY
STARTING WITH NEW ROSTER
1.
Select Post Voting History under the Elections
menu.
8. A voter ID should not be listed twice in the
express entry queue. To remove a voter ID:
a. Reverse Mode - Mark All History - History
is pre-marked for all voters on the roster.
Voter IDs entered into express entry will
have history removed.

2. Select the election listed at the top of the
roster from the Election dropdown menu.
a.
If only the roster name is listed in the
dropdown menu, the roster has not been
started.
See Normal Mode - Start With No
History.
See Posting Voting History Continuing a Saved Roster.
b. Click Remove From List.
c.
Click Ok.
9. When done click Continue.
REVERSE MODE - MARK ALL HISTORY
5. Voting Method is defaulted to In-Person On
Election Day (or Mail Ballot for mail ballot
precincts) and grayed out.
b. If the roster name plus “(started)” is listed,
a portion of the voter records from the
roster have been queued to receive voting
history.

a. Select the duplicate voter ID from the list.
See Reverse Mode - Mark All History.
b. Normal Mode - Start With No History History will only be added for voter IDs
entered into express entry.

3. Select the roster name listed at the top of the
roster from the Roster dropdown menu.
Note: In Reverse Mode history must first
removed for AB voters then added as AB
voting history.
6. Click the Voter ID field, a flashing cursor will
appear.
10. Review the popup message and click Ok.
11. You will be brought to the Post Voting History
Review and Edit Screen. The Post Voting
History - Review and Edit screen will have
history queued for all voter IDs except those
entered into the express entry queue in the
previous screen.
7. Enter voter IDs from the roster for voters who
voted by absentee ballot or who did not vote in
person at the polling place.
c.
If the roster name does not show at all in
the dropdown menu, the roster was
marked complete and history was posted.


Please submit a ticket through the
Customer Portal.
To do this, scan the barcode for every voter
that has “AB” or does not have a signature
next to their name (or has not cast a mail ballot
for mail ballot precincts).
12. From Voting Method, click Absentee Ballot.
13. Next step is to add voting history for any
voters who voted by absentee ballot in the
precinct:
a. Click Voter ID field, a flashing cursor will
appear.
17. If all history has been queued for the roster
skip to step 18.
If all history has not been queued for the
roster, click Save Changes. This will save all
changes made to the roster up to this point and
allow you to continue at a later time.
b. Scan the barcode for every voter that has
AB next to their name.
c.
The roster on the Posting Voting HistoryReview and Edit screen now match the
paper roster.
14. The Posting Voting History - Review and Edit
screen should now match your roster.
A check mark plus “P” should be listed for a
voter who signed the roster (or “M” for voters
who returned mail ballots in a mail ballot
precinct) and a check mark plus an “A”
should be listed for a voter who voted by
absentee ballot.
a. Click the mark Roster Complete checkbox.
c.
Scan the barcode of the voter record with
the incorrect voting method once to
remove the incorrect voting method.
d. Scan the barcode of the same voter
record to apply the correct voting method.
16. After any needed corrections are made, click
Continue.
To do this, scan the barcode for every voter
that has a signature next to their name (or cast
a mail ballot for mail ballot precincts).
8. Next, from Voting Method, click Absentee
Ballot.
b. Click Mark Roster Complete and Post
History.
c.
Review the popup message. This message
will tell you the number of records that will
get voting history. It will also warn you that
you will no longer be able to make changes
to the roster after click Ok.
15. If a voter record has the incorrect voting
method listed:

CONTINUING A SAVED ROSTER
Ex: If pages 1-25 were finished before saving,
you will start with page 26, etc.
If roster was started in Reverse Mode, you
should continue in Reverse Mode. If roster was
started in Normal Mode, you should continue in
Normal mode.
Enter any voter IDs from the roster for voters
who voted by absentee ballot or who did not
vote in person at the polling place.
4. Click either Process With Reverse Mode or
Process With Normal Mode.
a. Process With Reverse Mode - Voter IDs
entered into express entry will have history
removed.
To do this, scan the barcode for every voter
that has “AB” or does not have a signature next
to their name (or has not cast a mail ballot for
mail ballot precincts).
Note: In Reverse Mode history must first
removed for AB voters then added as AB
voting history.

PROCESS WITH NORMAL MODE
11. You will be brought to the Post Voting History
Review and Edit Screen. The Post Voting
History - Review and Edit screen will have
history queued for all voter IDs except those
entered into the express entry queue in the
previous screen.
12. From Voting Method, click Absentee Ballot.
15. If a voter record has the incorrect voting
method listed:
a. From Voting Method, select the correct
voting method for the voter record.
b. Click Voter ID field, a flashing cursor will
appear.
c.
Scan the barcode of the voter record with
the incorrect voting method once to
remove the incorrect voting method.
d. Scan the barcode of the same voter record
to apply the correct voting method.
13. Next step is to add voting history for any
voters who voted by absentee ballot in the
precinct:
a. Click Voter ID field, a flashing cursor will
appear.
16. After any needed corrections are made, click
Continue.
17. When all history is queued for the roster:
a. Click the Roster Complete check box.

6. Click the Voter ID field, a flashing cursor will
appear.
7. Continue with the portion of the roster that was
not completed before the roster was saved.
