R-56® – Spreader Sticker for Agricultural Sprays
A spreader and sticker, R-56 is composed of surface active agents and organic polymers, which help reduce surface
tension and aid in toxicant retention on plants.
R-56 Benefits:
USE RATES
·· More uniform coverage
HERBICIDES: Use 1 to 3 pints (16 to 48 fluid ounces) per 100
gallons of spray solution.
·· Improves adhesion between pesticide and plant surface
·· Resists “wash off” during wet periods
·· Excellent with wettable powder formulations of fungicides and
insecticides
·· Designed for use with agricultural fungicides, herbicides and
insecticides
USE DIRECTIONS
Care must be taken when spraying sensitive crops. Always add as
the last ingredient to tank with agitator running. Pesticides should
be well mixed before addition of R-56 Spreader Sticker.
For pesticides/herbicides that permit use of a surfactant at a
higher rate, follow instructions on that pesticide/herbicide label.
However, DO NOT ADD THIS PRODUCT AT A RATE WHICH
EXCEEDS 5% OF THE FINISHED SPRAY VOLUME.
INSECTICIDES: Use ¹⁄8 to 2 pints (2 to 32 fluid ounces) per 100
gallons of spray solution.
FUNGICIDES AND ACARICIDES: Use ¹⁄8 to 2 pints (2 to 32 fluid
ounces) per 100 gallons of spray solution.
DEFOLIANTS AND DESICCANTS: Use 1 to 4 pints (16 to 64 fluid
ounces) per 100 gallons of spray solution.
BACKPACK OR HAND-HELD SPRAYERS: Use ½ to 1 teaspoon
per gallon of spray solution.
Before using R-56 Spreader Sticker on stone or pome fruit,
consult your Wilbur-Ellis Representative. Always add as the last
ingredient to tank with agitator running. Pesticides should be well
mixed before addition of R-56 Spreader Sticker.
Use caution at the higher application rates. When applying to a
sensitive crop, first treat a small area to determine if there may be
adverse effects on the crop.
