The CNA courses at Casper College are in great demand and the courses fill up rapidly.
NOTE: If you are not currently taking classes you can register for FALL CNA classes beginning May 1st, 2015. See Nubia Arana, HS 106, Guadalupe Kerr
HS 202, Tammy Frankland HS 202A, Heather Huber HS 104, or your advisor. If you are taking classes see your advisor the week of April 6th.
IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITES---YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED. YOU NEED THE PROOF OF CPR and RESULTS OF THE
TB SKIN TEST!! (Tb test is current if given within one year and valid through end of the class) Please bring copies of documentation ready.
*** 15 hours of additional clinical experience during second weekend of class is mandatory.
*** Also an hour after each class and lab session to practice in lab is mandatory.

In order to ensure enrollment for the course you want, it is essential that you follow these instructions:
A. Proof of CPR (only 1 of the following are accepted-no exceptions will be granted)





Current American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers CPR (HLTK 1625 on campus) OR
Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
Either card must be current throughout the entire class period.
Bring the original card plus a copy.
If BLS card is not available because is being processed. You will need to present an official letter from instructor or program
where you took the class. Hand written notes will not be accepted. Letter must include information regarding you
participating and passing the class. Information on how to contact instructor/center must be included in letter.

The TB skin test can be obtained from:
1. If you are registering for NRST 1500, see the College nurse-not available during summer (307) 268-2263.

You also need to:
1. Meet with your advisor, with Guadalupe Kerr, Tammy Frankland, Heather Huber or Nubia Arana to register once you have
proof of the correct CPR and results of the TB skin test.
2. Take the form to Admissions Office, GW 349 to register for class. Until you do this you will not be consider to be register for
the class. The class cost as part time student for Wyoming resident is $432*, for WUE students $596* and for nonresident
$1096*.
3. Purchase a set of Navy blue scrubs (solid color only, no prints). Any of the uniform retail stores in town have the uniforms.
You can also purchase the uniform from the nursing student association, ask the instructors. The uniform set (top and pants)
at CC sales for $32.00 you can pay cash or check written to Casper College.
4. Purchase a pair of all white, low heels, rubber sole shoes –no clogs.
5. Purchase a watch with a second hand and a black sharpie.
6. Textbook and workbook available at CC bookstore located at the Student Center at UWC Building BOCES students can pick
up books from instructor after signing up for class.
