Join us as Malta Town Historian Paul Perreault presents this informative
program on the life and times of locally-born Elmer Ellsworth. Colonel
Ellsworth led an extremely colorful life and was just 24 years old when he
was fatally shot, making him the first Union officer to be killed in the Civil
War. A personal friend of Abraham Lincoln, he was laid in state at the
White House, an honor reserved for very few people. Please register online
