New Permanent Exhibit Mary Thomas Doll & Toy Collection Mary Thomas was a longtime Board member and the creator and director of our Bit of History lecture series. Mary wanted us to have a permanent doll and toy exhibit, and to that end she bequeathed to the Museum her extensive doll collection and other generous gifts. We are pleased to announce that Mary's legacy is now reflected in the newly opened Mary Thomas Doll & Toy Collection. For the 2016 Exchange exhibition at the WFMA, Mr. Nakagomi has selected eleven artists from Japan who will come to Texas to exhibit their art. The American artists who participated in the 2015 Exchange have also been invited to exhibit their art in the 2016 Exchange exhibition. The eleven participating Japanese artists include: Katsuyuki Gibo, Hideo lida, Manami, Ishimura, Mari Ito, Yasuyo Maruyama, Sachiko Miki, Yasunari Nakagomi, Noboru Nakamura, Haruyo Nakanishi, Rie Sato, and Izumi Tanabe.
