Main Exhibit Politicians, Poll Boxes, and Public Servants: Participating in Politics
 What better time to have an exhibit like this?
 The exhibit has campaign artifacts, old voting equipment, and multimedia elements on
protest songs and the Presidential "campaign" of comedian Pat Paulsen in 1968.
 There is also a great deal of information on how we can all participate in the political
process and government.
 No exhibit of this type would be complete with political cartoons, and we have plenty.
New Permanent Exhibit
Mary Thomas Doll & Toy Collection



Mary Thomas was a longtime Board member and the creator and director of our Bit of History
lecture series.
Mary wanted us to have a permanent doll and toy exhibit, and to that end she bequeathed to the
Museum her extensive doll collection and other generous gifts.
We are pleased to announce that Mary's legacy is now reflected in the newly opened Mary
Thomas Doll & Toy Collection.
