Daikin Altherma
Small Monobloc AWHP
Daikin is the number one choice for Air-Water Heat Pump (AWHP) technology. With over
50 years design and manufacturing experience of refrigeration and compressor technology,
Daikin are the natural choice for heat pump systems.
Complete comfort for all the family – Daikin Altherma small
Monobloc provides heating and domestic hot water through the
whole year. With a fully integrated control system, Daikin Altherma
provides comfort with optimum efficiency. An optional back-up
heater is available to offer peace of mind for the coldest winter days.
A full range of unvented stainless steel cylinders are equipped with
an immersion heater to provide optional boost for peak times when
higher hot water volumes are required.
Installers – With a sealed refrigerant system, the heat pump is
designed to be installed by heating specialists without special F-gas
qualifications. This provides opportunities for heating engineers
who wish to expand into renewable heating systems and to partner
the market leader.
Developers – A space saving solution, with all key hydraulic
components located in the outdoor unit, this appliance is ideal
for properties with space constraints. With minimum indoor
components, it can easily be incorporated into the build
programme of new dwellings and offers an easy way for developers
to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
Social housing – With COP of 4*, small Monobloc offers high
running cost savings, especially compared to expensive fuel
systems such as oil and electric systems. The Daikin small Monobloc
offers greatest energy savings when installed as part of an insulation
improvement programme.
Solar energy for even greater savings – Further energy savings
are possible by connecting Daikin solar panels. The integrated
control system maximises the use of renewable heat, either from
the air or from the sun.

Daikin’s unique position as a manufacturer of air
conditioning equipment, compressors and refrigerants
has led to its close involvement in environmental issues.
For several years Daikin has had the intention to become
a leader in the provision of products that have limited
impact on the environment. This challenge demands the
eco design and development of a wide range of products
and an energy management system, resulting in energy
conservation and a reduction of waste.
