Position: Pre-Day Set Up

Setup rooms and various locations for event day
Help with organization of stockings and putting toys into age categories
for distribution on day of event.


Position: Traffic Directors
Main Contact/Lead: Jermaine Slaughter

(Northwest Hwy Entrance) Direct buses to continue to the Inwood Rd
entrance, and volunteers into their designated parking area
(Inwood Rd Entrance) Direct buses to Turning Point
(Turning Point 1) Direct buses into the turning point, and all other traffic
to their assigned parking sections
(Turning Point 2) Direct the buses to the assigned area for parking
Upon completion of your assignment, report to the event entrance for
further instructions.





Position: Individual Volunteers

provide assistance where needed.

Position: Event Assistants

Will circulate the event and assist the volunteers by ensuring they have
all the tools they need to properly perform their duties
Act as the intermediary for Jermaine
Provide assistance to alleviate stress in overpopulated areas


Position: Greeters
Main Contact/Lead: Jermaine Slaughter




Grab pompoms and cheer as the buses unload
Make the children feel welcome
Report back to your stations after the last bus arrives
May be broken into two 1-3hr shifts (One for the arrival and one for the
departure of buses.)


Position: Line Managers (YMSL – Legacy)
Main Contact/Lead: Michelle Williams



Manage and supervise families and children as they line up for Santa
Facilitate speedy movement of line, and engage the children as they wait
Ensure Santa has breaks as needed, hold line while they wait

Position: Bus Ambassadors (Citi)
Main Contact/Lead: Sheila Freeman / David Norwood


Santa ambassadors that will greet bus upon arrival at the entrance
Distribute lunch tickets as participants exit the bus, then direct families to
Asbury Hall
Retrieve family order forms from Bus Captain, work with Captain to
collect family gifts from fulfillment center
As individual orders are filled, combine into bags by family, and staple
order form to bag
Place completed orders/family bags on assigned bus
At event dismissal, assist Bus Captains in gathering families for departure
Once assigned bus has departed report to fulfillment center to assist with
clean-up







Position: Lunch Servers (NCL – Golden Corridor / YMSL - Legacy)

Located in Asbury Hall
Support Chuy’s food service staff in collecting meal tickets and
distributing containers of food
Maintain and replenish drink coolers and cups
Maintain cookie distribution/replenishment
Pick up trash throughout meal service
Wipe down tables throughout service, clean-up spills & messes as needed


Position: Craft Center (YMSL – Plano)
Main Contact/Lead: Bibsy Ruchman



Craft Center is located in the East Hall
Craft sample and instruction will be provided on the day of event
Responsible for set-up of craft area, including covering 3 tables with craft
paper, break/down & clean-up at conclusion of event
Overseeing children’s crafts, providing encouragement, inviting families
to do craft together


Position: Carnival Games (Risk Theory)

Set-up and facilitate game, award prizes, break-down/clean-up at
conclusion of event
Instructions for games will be provided that day
You will be assigned one of the following games:
 Snownose Snowman Game (Watson)
 Lollipop Tree (Watson)
 Santa Hat Traffic (Main Hall)
 Frosty Snowball Toss (Main Hall)
 Santa Bucket Toss (Main Hall)
 Gift Wrap – Minute to Win It (Main Hall)
 Jenga (Watson)




Position: Carnival Games (Lover’s Lane UMC)

Bringing games and prizes, set-up, break-down and removal
6 tables and 12 chairs will be provided by LLUMC

Position: Child Care Monitors (Mom’s Best Friend)
Main Contact/Lead: Sunni Roaten




Located in East Hall (it is an open area)
Be available to assist families with young children
Assist with activities located in the toddler area, including coloring pages
Provide volunteers with child care guidelines in email and hard copies on
hand at event

Position: Cupcake Decorating (NCL – Plano)
Main Contact/Lead: Jeanne Koepke


Assist and supervise children as they decorate cupcakes with various
toppings
Provide approximately 600 undecorated cupcakes that the children will
top themselves
Provide icing, sprinkles and other child-friendly items to decorate a
holiday-themed cupcake
Setup and cleanup (Wesley Hall)


Position: Face Painting (NCL – Preston Bluebonnet)
Main Contact/Lead: Caren Hamilton / Cara Nunan



Located in Watson Hall, Set-up of table at 11:30, Tables will be covered in
gift wrap
Face painting supplies will be provided
Break/down & clean-up at conclusion of event, ensure supplies (washing
brushes - bathroom) are clean and organized for return to Rainbow Days


Position: Fulfillment Center (Thompson & Knight LLP)

Fill family gift orders as they are brought to desk by Bus
Captains/Ambassadors
At conclusion of event, assist with clean-up, inventory, and
packing/labeling of left-over items





Assist karaoke vendor with set-up/break-down of equipment (requires
