I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Simmental breeders and other interested cattle producers to the Virginia Simmental
Association Sim Sensation sale at the Virginia Beef Expo. The Virginia Simmental Association works hard to host a great event for breeders from the state
of Virginia as well as consignors and supporters from surrounding states. DP Sales Management is happy to once again be working with the consignors
and officers of the association to make this event a success. The spring expo sales have been happening with great success throughout the Southeast.
Make sure you mark your calendar to be with us in Harrisonburg on Thursday at 3:00 to continue the spring sale season. Remember the sale is a different
day and time this year so please be aware of this change made by the Va Beef Expo committee.
First off, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the genetics that are Virginia bred and are making a positive impact in the Simmental industry. The
success of the B80, H25, Vidalia, VPI Pollyanna, Shes Savannah and Snickdoddle have had great success in the industry. Another note is that two years
ago a purchase by Josh Pysher turned into the champion Simmental and the Supreme overall at the New York State Fair. After winning as a bred she
even went on to win as a cow calf pair. Congrats Josh. Cooper Joines purchased lot 5 in last years sale and was a many time winner under most judges.
He won many awards as a first time exhibitor. Thanks all the past buyers and we welcome anyone to share their success stories. The Virginia Simmental is
under the leadership of President Chad Joines and he wants you to be a part of the association. It is a great time to be supportive of your state association
and get involved with the whole family. We challenge you as parents to get your kids involved in the best junior program around. This state sponsored
sale is a great event to get involved in and a great place to select Simmental and Sim Angus genetics. The highlight of the sale is the strong bull offering.
Whether you are commercial or purebred breeder these bulls will fit your needs. We are pleased to work with many faithful consignors however welcome
the new participants to this years sale. Come sale week and get to know all the consignors.

to make positive changes in your association however it requires your involvement. This is always a great chance to fellowship with fellow Simmental

In the 2015 North Carolina Fall Harvest sale we purchased the donor LESF
Miss Meyer from the respected Nicholson Livestock. This donor has had
several daughters in that sale for the last two years. It is easy to see her
