Beauty and the Beast Costume List
Costume Notes:
1. Many of the roles require knickers (men’s pants that are knee length) which were the style for
men at the time. Knickers can be made by cutting off a regular pair of pants and putting an elastic
casing around the bottom or using sweat pants that have elastic already at the bottom and just
pulling them up to the knee.

Many of the roles require ballet shoes. These can often be purchased used at Tree House in
Redmond or Gotta Dance studio, also in Redmond. A good place to order on line is
http://www.discountdance.com/dancewear/kids/ballet-slippers/page1. If you find the ballet shoes to be too expensive,
a pair of black flats would be fine.
