Red Wagon Roundup Donation Drive Wish List 2016-2017

School supplies for 1 Darn Cool School: 3 ring binders, dual pocket folders, calculators, backpacks, mechanical
pencils, composition books, highlighters, notebooks, color pencils, Crayola crayons and markers
Lego sets of all sizes: perfect for birthday gifts and incentives to get through tough procedures or situations (boys and
girls)
Items for Teen Zone: Nail polish, bath and body lotions, diaries/journals with fun pens or pencils, adult coloring books
(very therapeutic)
Items for Infants: little rattles, baby toys, teethers, pacifiers, bottles, diapers, and premature baby clothes, books
Stress squeeze balls: used as a coping tool for painful procedures or stressful situations
In bed activities: sketchbooks and pencils, Etch-a- Sketches & Magna Doodles, coloring books, crayons, markers,
colored pencils
Stuffed animals: PCH tries to get one to each child who comes day surgery as well as many to inpatients. *They have to
be new with tags on them. The smaller ones are especially popular such as Beanie Babies and Beanie Boos.
Family Care Cart Items: travel/individual size toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion,
dental floss, mouthwash, deodorant, hair brushes, adult size blankets, adult non-skid fuzzy socks
Hair care supplies: brushes, detangler, hair ties, hair clips, hair bands, spray on hair color (they love it)travel sized
shampoo & conditioner
Fun beauty items: Nail polish, bath products, and body lotions
Craft Supplies: tacky glue, googly eyes, felt, acrylic paint, paint brushes, small scissors , yarn, ribbon, cardstock, buttons,
sequins, tissue paper, beads…

Craft kits: ceramic or wooden items for the patients to paint or snap models are also very popular
Books: board books for toddlers, high school fiction, graphic novels, easy readers, chapter books from popular series. Our
hospital book cart ALWAYS needs books. Spanish books are always in need, as well!
Board Games: Sorry, Trouble, Headbands, Guess who, Don’t Break the Ice, Scattegories, Connect 4…..
Game books: hidden picture books, word finds, crossword puzzles, Sudoku. Go here to see coloring books that cater to
the older patients- also very popular and ones we typically do not get in donations.
