The Cogent UDC-Cholesterol is a mid range column in the TYPE-C™
suite of columns while using Reverse Phase for Hydrophobic analytes.
This column also works quite well in Aqueous Normal Phase for polar
compounds and is used to retain polar and non polar compounds in the
same run. Some of the features of this column include changing from RP
to ANP without hysteresis and with very little equilibration time. The
