Farwell to Retirees The Coppell Education Foundation’s 2nd annual Run to Fund 5K/10K and Fun Run was a huge success with 1,000 runners participating. The goal of the event was to unite with the City of Coppell to 1) raise awareness of the community’s health initiatives and 2) create awareness and support for the Education Foundation’s purpose of bridging the educational funding gap in our schools. The Coppell Education Foundation held its annual Academic Recognition Banquet in May. The banquet honored the top 5% of the graduating senior students from Coppell High School and New Tech High @ Coppell. These learners each acknowledged a CISD teacher who made the greatest positive impact in their academic careers. In addition, campus Teachers of the Year were honored, and the District Teachers of the Year were announced.
