Reflection
The Christian story is the story of human failure. There is
something about God that is better expressed in weakness than
in strength, in foolishness than in wisdom, in poverty than in
riches. To be followers of Christ and to be imitators of his we
are surprised to find that we must learn the art of human
failure. To die on a cross was the ultimate failure, our story
begins when the story had come to an end and it is a story
which gives joy, hope and meaning to this brief passage of time
which is our life.
