from yards, flowers, shrub clippings, etc.) weekly, every Thursday,
beginning April 6, through June 1, 2017.
Please do not place small yard wastes loosely along streets or curband-gutter lines as they could be washed into storm sewers.
Instead, place them in sturdy, open, reusable containers that weigh
less than 50 pounds, such containers will be left behind by
collectors. Yard waste placed in plastic bags will not be picked up.
Please have yard waste placed within curb-lawn areas of rightsof-way no later than 8:00 A.M. on the day of collection. Grass
clippings will not be picked up by collectors but can be delivered
along with other small yard waste to the south side of Sheridan
Street, directly across from the City's Public Works facility.
Brush Chipping and Disposal
The City will provide brush chipping on the first and third Monday
of each month beginning in April through November. Tree limbs
and large brush should be placed along curb-lawn at residence and
separated from other materials for collection. Brush piles must not
exceed two cubic yards. Please Note: Tree limbs and brush will
not be accepted at the City’s Public Works Facility, located on
