Luo Rulong reportetly
embezzled US$ 89,000 to
finance his gambling habit.
He was sentenced to death
by Guangzhou
Intermediate Court on 6th
December 92, and the
Supreme Court now ratified
the sentence.
Yang Jin was sentenced to
death in April 1992 by the
Dali Intermediate Court.
Yang Jin logded an appeal.
The Supreme Court upheld
the death sentence.

Bijie Prefecture
Intermediate Court, his
appeal to the Provincial

rejected.
According to Tibet TV, the

control certificates to fertile
women who wished to avoid
sterilisation by proving that
they had undergone surgery
and were sterile. He was
sen-tenced during a first
instance trial in Nov. 93 (see
death penalty log 1993, ASA
17/15/94) and the Henan
Provincial High People's
Court now rejected his
appeal. He was executed
with the approval of the
Supreme Court in Beijing.
