Parent Workshop – Cancellation/Change/Missed Class Policies









If you cancel your registration more than 14 days before the class, you will receive a 90% refund.
If you cancel your registration 5 to 14 days before the class, you will receive a 50% refund. However, cancellation is not accepted within 5
days of the class.
Your cancellation must be emailed to [email protected]
Instead of cancellation, if you wish to change your registration to another date or class, you must email the request to
[email protected] at least 48 hours before the class.
Knowledge Makes Cents reserves the right to cancel a class that have less than the minimum required registrations per class.
If the class is cancelled by Knowledge Makes Cents, you will be notified by both an email message and a phone call.
If the class is cancelled by Knowledge Makes Cents, you will receive a full refund.
If Knowledge Makes Cents does not receive an email from you requesting your cancellation or change of class within the time constraints
mentioned above, and you do not attend the registered class it will be deemed a missed class.
There are no financial refunds or credits for a missed class.

Any class cancellation due to weather will be announced via our voice mail greeting (please call 905-882-3130) at least 2 hours prior to the
start time of the classes.
Where possible, Knowledge Makes Cents will also notify you directly by email messages.
Where possible, Knowledge Makes Cents will also send notifications through social media.
If a class is cancelled by Knowledge Makes Cents due to weather, arrangements will be made by Knowledge Makes Cents to make-up the
missed class.
