During your athletic events hosted by the University of Memphis, the

We have three training rooms located on our campus. One is located on
south Campus, servicing football (practice facility), baseball, and track.
Another is located in the Elma Roane Fieldhouse, servicing volleyball and
women’s basketball. Our third is located in the Finch Recreation Center,
servicing men’s basketball (practice facility), men’s and women’s soccer
(practice facility), and men’s and women’s tennis. You are more than
welcome to use our facilities. We ask that you please contact us so that
we can make the proper arrangements to have the training room available for you visit.
If a certified athletic trainer is not traveling with your team, please forward a letter detailing your players’ needs.
If any additional items are needed that are not covered in the above list,

M/FIELD HOUSE
I-40 East (from Arkansas)
After you cross the "New" bridge, proceed past the Pyramid Arena approximately one (1) mile. Take I-240 South
(right) toward Jackson, Miss. Stay on I-240 and it will loop "East" toward Nashville. Follow the signs toward Nashville. Approximately five (5) minutes exit at Exit 20 (GETWELL NORTH). After exiting on Getwell North continue on
Getwell until it dead ends at Park Ave. (You will see a Burger King directly in front of you.) Turn right onto Park
Avenue and get in the left lane. Take a left at the first light which will be Goodlett. Follow Goodlett over the railroad
tracks, and continue on until you come to the next light. Take a left onto Central Avenue. Follow Central Avenue to
the first light and make a left onto Zach Curlin.(you are now on the campus). Continue on Zach Curlin past
Norriswood, past DeSoto, past next parking lot (you should see the "gated" lot that you are used to parking in on the
right, but go past that lot). You will see the Elma Fieldhouse on the right and just past it (before you go around the
curve to the right and past The Campus School) is a new parking garage. Pull up to the concrete slab that is in
between the parking garage and the entrance to The Fieldhouse.
I-55 South (from St. Louis and Arkansas)
After you cross the "old" bridge, stay on I-55 South, exit at I-240 "East" to Nashville. Approximately five (5) minutes
exit at Exit 20 (GETWELL NORTH). After exiting on Getwell North continue on Getwell until it dead ends at Park
Ave. (You will see a Burger King directly in front of you.) Turn right onto Park Avenue and get in the left lane. Take a
left at the first light which will be Goodlett. Follow Goodlett over the railroad tracks, and continue on until you come
to the next light. Take a left onto Central Avenue. Follow Central Avenue to the first light and make a left onto Zach
Curlin.(You are now on the campus). Continue on Zach Curlin past Norriswood, past DeSoto, past past next

I-40 West (from Nashville)
Once you enter Shelby Co. stay on I-40 approximately 10-15 minutes. Follow sign "LOCAL TRAFFIC."Take the
Graham Street Exit. Go left on Graham Street. Follow Graham over the railroad tracks. You will come to an
intersection with a three-way stop. TAKE A LEFT (Do not continue on straight). You are now on Goodlett. Stay on
Goodlett as it winds around. Go through the first stop light at Walnut Grove. Go through the next stop light at
Poplar Ave. At the next stop light take a right onto Central Avenue. Follow Central Avenue to the first light and make
a left onto Zach Curlin.(You are now on the campus). Continue on Zach Curlin past Norriswood, past DeSoto, past

From West (Arkansas): Take I-40 towards Memphis and take Exit 1 - Riverside Drive or Exit 2 - Second Street and Third Street.
From South (Mississippi): Take I-55 towards St. Louis and continue into downtown Memphis via Riverside Drive.
From East (Nashville): Take I-40 towards Memphis/Little Rock and take Exit 2 - Second Street and Third Street or Exit 1 - Riverside

AutoZone Park's main entry Plaza is located at the corner of Third Street and Union Avenue in downtown Memphis (200 Union Avenue).
From Arkansas - (I-40): After crossing the DeSoto Bridge you may use exit 1 (Riverside Drive) or exit 1E (Second Street). Follow either
street to Union Avenue and turn left at the stop light.
From Mississippi - (I-55): Follow I-55 north and take the left exit towards St. Louis when I-55 meets I-240. Follow I-55 towards downtown.
Continue driving straight at exit 12B Riverside Drive) when I-55 splits off to cross into Arkansas. Follow Riverside Drive along the
Mississippi River and the second stop light is Union Avenue. Turn right at Union Avenue.
From Mississippi - (US 78): After the stop light at American Way, take the I-240 exit to the right and follow the signs to St. Louis.
Continue straight at exit 25B (I-55 north) when I-240 splits off toward midtown Memphis. Continue driving straight at exit 12B (Riverside
Drive) when I-55 splits off to the right. Follow Riverside Drive along the
Mississippi River, the second stop light is Union Ave. Turn right at Union Avenue.
From Nashville - (I-40): Take exit 10B to the right towards Little Rock. Nine miles later make the right turn at exit 1E. You can then take
exit 1C (Danny Thomas Blvd. South) to Madison St. and turn right or take exit 1A (Second St.) and follow it to Union Ave.
DIRECTIONS TO M IKE ROSE SOCCER COMPLEX
Take I-240 to Nonconnah Parkway (385). Take Nonconnah Pkwy (385) east to approximately 7 miles to the Forest Hill Irene Road exit
(you will see complex on your right). Turn right onto Forest Hill Irene Rd and make your first right into the complex on Cindy Parlow
Drive.

THE U OF M ATHLETIC OFFICE BUILDING is located on campus on the corner of Southern Ave. and Normal Drive. All of the coaches and
administration are located in this building. The following directions are from the Memphis Airport to the AOB.
1: Start out going East on WINCHESTER RD by turning left.
2: Turn SLIGHT RIGHT.
3: Turn RIGHT onto WINCHESTER RD.
4: Stay straight to go onto PLOUGH BLVD.
5: Merge onto PLOUGH BLVD.
6: Take the I-240 exit.
7: Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.
8: Merge onto I-240 E.
9: Take the NORTH GETWELL RD exit- exit number 20B.
10: Merge onto GETWELL RD/TN-176.
11: Turn LEFT onto PARK AVE.
12: Turn RIGHT onto SHOTWELL ST.

SOUTH CAMPUS -- where the Nat Buring Baseball Field, the track, and the football complex are located, is off of Getwell Road. Follow the above
directions from the airport. Once you are on Getwell, you will take a right into the South Campus entrance across from Krystals and Subway. If
you get to the light at Park, you have just passed up the entrance. When you enter South Campus, follow the road to the right. You will pass
WKNO TV on the left and should see the baseball field and the track on the right. The football complex and practice fields are located just pass
the parking lor behind the baseball field. Take a right at the gate and follow the road around to the building.
ECHELS SOCCER FIELD/FINCH CENTER -- The Larry O. Finch Center is the practice facility for the men's basketball team. In that area is also the
tennis facility and Echles Field (where soccer plays). Follow the above directions, but pass up Normal Street. Just a block past Normal Street is
Echles Field, on the right. The Finch Center is located just past the soccer fields (you will see an outdoor pool just to the right of the facility). The
tennis courts are just a bit further on the right and across from the Finch Center.

FROM THE AIRPORT: Take airways North approximately three miles to the intersection of Airways and Central Ave. Turn right on Central and
travel two blocks (two stop lights) to the corner of Hollywood and Central. Turn right on Hollywood and travel 1/4 mile to the entrance of Liberty
Bowl Memorial Stadium. Team buses and equipment trucks/vans will use the South Hollywood entrance and park in the South Endzone parking
lot adjacent to the JumboTron scoreboard.

HOLIDAY INN (U OF M)- 3700 CENTRAL AVE. -- Take Airways Blvd North to I-240 "East" toward Nashville. Follow I-240 approximately three (3)

PARK VISTA (FORMERLY THE ADAMS MARK) - 939 RIDGE LAKE BLVD. -- Take 1-240 heading East. Exit at "Poplar Avenue, Germantown Road East" and
get over to your left. At the light (Sweetbrier), make a left. Stay in the left lane and make a left at the light. You will see the hotel on the left.
EAST MEMPHIS HILTON - 5069 SANDERLIN AVE. -- Take 1-240 heading East. Exit at "Poplar Avenue, Germantown Road West" . Go through
three lights and at the fourth (White Station), make a right. Get in the left lane. At the next light (Sanderlin Ave.), make a left and stay in the left
lane. The Hilton will be on the left.
HOLIDAY INN EAST - 5795 POPLAR -- Take 1-240 heading East. Exit at "Poplar Avenue, Germantown Road East" and get over to the far left lane.
You should see a sign for Poplar Avenue West. Take the turn and stay in the left lane. The Holiday Inn will be on your left.
MEMPHIS MARRIOTT - 2625 THOUSAND OAKS COVE -- Take 1-240 heading East. Exit at "Perkins Road South" and get over to the left lane. At
the light (Mall of Memphis Rd.), make a left and go to the stop sign. Turn left, and the hotel will be on the left.
WYNDHAM GARDEN - 300 NORTH SECOND ST. -- Take 1-240 heading West. Stay on the right. You should see a sign for I-240 North. Follow
the turn. When you see I-40 West exit, get in the right lane to take the loop-around turn. Exit at Second Street. Stay in the left lane and turn on to
Second Street. The hotel is on the left.
