FLOWER FACTORY • PRIVATE GARDENS • EPIC SYSTEMS
(Limited space on this trip because of the Epic Tour)
FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2014
Departs 7am from Hwy. 172 & GV Park 'n Ride
Start the day with breakfast at McDonalds or the End of the Trail Coffee & Candy Shop in Waupun. Then it's on to the fabulous Flower Factory. The setting is peaceful and serene, but the selection of plants is extensive and unusual. Lots of us look
forward to this annual trip to buy perennials and to visit with Nancy and David. Next, we will visit Ed Lyon's garden. Ed writes
for Wisconsin Gardening Magazine, does all his own photography work for lectures and is the Director of the Allen Centennial
Garden in Madison. Today we will visit his home, an 1897 Circa Queen
Ann Victorian house. His garden is packed with plants and demonstrates
a great use of space. Next, we will enjoy a wonderful lunch at the Great
Dane Pub and Brewhouse. Next, we will visit Rita Thomas' garden; not
only does Rita have a charming garden, but today is also her plant sale
day!! Bonus! Then it's on to the highlight of the day, a docent-led tour of
the Epic Systems Intergalactic Headquarters. Get ready for a truly unique
tour. There are surprises around every corner that inspire creativity and
create a sense of fun. Epic is a health care software company founded in
1978 by Judith R. Faulkner. The campus is elaborate, featuring several
theme gardens. Inside is even more spectacular with a waterfall conference
room, ice palace, northwoods lodge, grand central station, jungle, Indiana Jones tunnel, the epic tree house, skywalk, and farm and
circus themes. After a full day of plant buying and exploring, we will head for home with our heads bursting with new ideas.
Reservation Info: Trip cost $79 per person, includes Lamers motor coach, lunch, gratuity and all admissions. Please forward
your check to David Calhoon, 4696 Swan Rd., Green Bay, WI 54311. Your check will hold your seat. Reservations on first

LET'S "GET HIGH" IN MILWAUKEE!
ROOF TOP GARDENS • SCULPTURES • ROOF TOP DINING
FRIDAY, June 13, 2014
Departs 7am from Hwy. 172 & GV Park 'n Ride
Our day will start with a breakfast stop at Hardees; then it's on to the
Bradley Sculpture Garden, one of Milwaukee's best kept secrets. This
impressive garden is situated on 40 acres, 6 of which are devoted to
sizable sculptures, gardens, lakes, wooded paths, and expansive
grassy areas. Once the home of Harry L. Bradley and his wife, Margaret, an avid art collector, the Bradley Sculpture Garden is known
worldwide to the art community and boasts more than 50 monumental sculptures. The lakes glisten like glass reflecting mirror images of the trees and
sculptures placed nearby. Next, how about a little rooftop shopping at the Garden
Room? Garden art rules here...sundials, stone figures and statues along with home decor
items. The roof top is 4,000 square feet and has a glass conservatory, arbor terrace and lots
of gardens. You will be sure to enjoy this eclectic urban garden and store. Next, we will
relax and be treated to a wonderful lunch at Braise Restaurant and Culinary School. The
menu will be reflective of the season and served upstairs on their rooftop garden; yes, cocktails will be available. After lunch we will revel in the secluded rooftop sculpture garden of
the Grohman Museum. This environmentally friendly green roof features 12 nine-foot
bronze sculptures and six life size sculptures. We will enjoy the panoramic view of the Milwaukee skyline. There will be time to enjoy the
large stained glass collection and many varied exhibitions celebrating the history of workers and, of course, the museum gift store.
Reservation Info: Trip cost $79 per person. Includes Lamers motor coach,
lunch and gratuity, and all admissions. Please forward your check to David
Calhoon, 4696 Swan Rd., Green Bay, WI 54311. Your check will hold your

& RED MILL
FRIDAY, July 11, 2014
Departs 7am from Hwy. 172 & GV Park 'n Ride
We will start the day with a visit to Karen and Carl's quarry garden. This garden was featured on Wisconsin Gardener in April
2011. You simply will not believe what this remarkable family has
created with a lot of sweat and an antique 1920s wrecker. This enormous garden truly rocks. After our morning walk we will make a comfort stop at McDonalds for a light breakfast before we travel to
Waupaca to board the Chief Waupaca, a 60-foot authentic sternwheeler. We will enjoy a leisurely paddle-wheel cruise thru the beautiful Chain O' Lakes. Come view the scenery and learn the history of
the lakes during our hour and a half narrated cruise. After our cruise,
we will be treated to a wonderful picnic lunch in their boathouse adjoining the lake. Next, we will make a visit to the new owners of the
Red Mill, Sheila and Todd. The grounds, chapel and gift shop are located on the beautiful Crystal River. New this year is an ice cream
shop with coffee and treats; Yumm! Next, we will visit the Cottage
Garden Farm which boasts the most imaginative and creative array of decorative garden accessories in Wisconsin. They
also have a year round Christmas Shop. After our day on the lake and exploring, we will enjoy a leisurely ride home.
Reservation Info: Trip cost $79 per person. Includes Lamers motor coach, lunch and gratuity and all admissions. Please forward your check to David Calhoon, 4696 Swan Rd., Green Bay, WI 54311. Your check will hold

TAPPING YOUR WAY TO
HEALTH & ABUNDANcE
EFT, otherwise known as Emotional Freedom
Technique, is a type of Meridian Tapping that
combines ancient Chinese acupressure and
modern psychology with startling results.
From pain relief, to healing childhood traumas, to
clearing limiting financial beliefs, to weight loss, body
image and food cravings, to fears, and phobias. Tapping is proving to be a powerful technique, well-researched and easy to learn and apply.
Tapping utilizes the body's energy meridian points by
stimulating them with your fingertips - literally tapping
into your body's own energy and healing power.
Your body is more powerful than you can imagine...filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for
self-healing. With Tapping, you can take control of
that power.
Bobbie Baker will explain exactly how EFT works and
why it is so effective. Bobbie will share personal stories
of transformation, follow along demonstrations, a video
presentation and handouts. This class will literally
change your life. Class size is limited; so sign up today!
