Our adventure continues with another of Rockford's unique originals, the Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum and Gardens. This Swiss cottage, built in 1865, perches high on a limestone bluff overlooking Kent Creek and is one of only a handful of Swiss-style homes from the 1800s remaining in the U.S. We will enjoy a full summer tea luncheon, tour the house and take in the beautiful grounds surrounding this historic place. Next, another spot beyond the ordinary is Nicholas Conservatory, a 22,000-square foot conservatory with water features and sculptures located in the center of fabulous gardens.
