FACILITIES OVERVIEW
ANU Sport facilities are available for hire by
ANU Students, ANU Staff, ANU Sport
members and the General Public.
OVALS
The ANU Campus has four Sporting Ovals. Willows Oval
(synthetic surface), North, South and Fellows Oval (grass
fields)
TENNIS COURTS
ANU Sport has eight (8) tennis courts available for hire. Two
hard courts are located adjacent to the Willows synthetic
ovals on Barry Drive. Four (4) synthetic grass courts are
located next to South Oval and there are two (2) additional
courts located at Old Canberra House and Mills Road. We
also hire out tennis racquets for a small fee and sell tennis
balls
SQUASH COURTS
Two (2) squash courts available for hire
CRICKET NETS
Six (6) cricket nets available for hire
MULTI PURPOSE SPORTS HALLS
Two large multi purpose sports halls. Volleyball, netball,
basketball, badminton, futsal or table tennis. The sports halls
can also be hired for exhibitions and events
CLIMBING WALL
We have two climbing walls. All users must be belay
accredited with the ANU Mountaineering Club
STUDIO 1
A large multi purpose room equipped with a sound system,
stage, mirrored wall and heating/cooling
DOJO ROOM
A fully matted, air-conditioned, safe and effective workout
room used for boxing classes and by ANU Martial Arts Clubs
BLUE ROOM
A small room which can be used for meetings and workshops
NORTH OVAL PAVILION
A large pavilion which can be used for
meetings, workshops, training days

Take advantage of our beautfiul grounds and remarkable range of quality sporting facilities
located at The Australian National University. Our centrally located facilities are available for hire all year
round and are open to holiday and vacation programs, school groups, and corporate groups.

We can cater classes or sessions to suit PDHPE departments, sports science classes, and sport and
recreation classes. We can cater sports activities for your school events; our faciltiies are readily available
for hire for sports carnivals and special activity days for school and community groups
ANU Sport has ideal sporting facilities to host your corporate or team building event. We are able to
provide a memorable sporting day for you and your work team, or alternatively our facilities are available
for a social lunchtime game of your choice to squeeze some exercise into your hectic schedule.
Our Fitness Services are also available to provide Corporate Group Training - a comprehensive,
specialised and personal fitness service for your staff. This training is aimed at developing
cardiovascular efficiency, body toning, strength core stability and flexibility. Whether you’re a community,
sporting or corporate group, you’re welcome at ANU Sport!
We are flexible and can assist with tailoring an activity or event to meet your needs. For more information

Making a booking
If you would like to make a facility booking request for today, please call Customer Service on 02 6125
2273. Future facility booking requests can be made through our online booking form. Please ensure all
your details are filled out correctly.
