Our 2013 Annual General Meeting was very successful with the organisation of another ‘World Café’ to help launch our new Strategic Plan for 2013—2016. Julie and Jenny put in a great effort towards the event and we are grateful for their hard work. I must extend my congratulations to ‘ Meatballs’ on winning the Lloyds TSB award recently. Well done indeed! Thanks should also be extended to Rosemarie Williams, Geoff Lees and all Trustees and staff who have taken part in the review of Day Services recently. They have come up with a useful set of proposals for the Board to consider. Peter Gray has provided some useful sessions for Trustees over the past months on the finances/accounts of VOCM and we thank him for his work on these. We at VOCM continue to support our beneficiaries and members and feel that our work is becoming more and more important in these difficult times.
