Alumni on Broadway
2017
The MTWichita alumni on Broadway fall into two categories: Former Company members of
our resident collegiate ensemble (FC) and actors who performed here as Guest Artists (GA).
In some cases, those Guest Artists were already Broadway veterans when we hired them,
but in many cases they were aspiring professionals whose work at our theatre helped take
them to another level. In many cases, I’ve cited featured roles played here by company
members, as well as shows in which they subsequently appeared on Broadway.

Peggy Hickey is Choreographer (at MTW staged Big Fish, The King and I (twice), The
Music Man, Curtains, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (and again next summer), My Fair
Lady, Meet Me in St. Louis, State Fair, and Annie Get Your Gun.)
Shina Ann Morris (East High grad; first Jester Award winner to get to Broadway. FC 20032008; returned as GA as Anita in West Side Story. B’way: Anything Goes, Nice Work If You
