camp and has written a letter home to his parents. Before he gives it
to his counselor for mailing, he would like you to read it. After you

(14) Upon our arrival the first day of camp, we begun to notice a
familiar stench. (15) We discovered a family of skunks had taken up
residency under our cabin steps. (16) No other cabin was available to
house the twelve boys in our group, so us, the Mighfy Troopers, had
to settle for this one.

Safurday night and youll never guess what happened! (18) We boys
had tossed sardines at the hole where the skunks live and just as the
skunks came out to investigate, Mr. Dinfy came barreling out the
door. (19) A traumattzing moment for all concerned!

discovered that skunk spray covers a wide area, including
mischievous boys who are watching from the woods.
