Olympics edition

Joey’s Corner
For this week’s Joey’s Corner we’ve decided to do the
Olympics
Since the Modern Olympics began in 1896, there have been 26
Summer Olympic Games held in 22 different cities and 22
Winter Olympic Games held in 19 different cities.
The Ancient Olympic Games consisted of only one race, the
"stade" race, which was the length of the stadium and between
180 and 240 metres long (we don't know for sure). Over the
years more running races and other events were added,
including boxing, wrestling, chariot racing, long jump, javelin
and discus throwing. It starts on August 5– August 21
Thank you for participation in the K.G Olympics’ last Monday.
