Special Points of Interest:

Summer loans will disburse to your student account at
the beginning of the session in which you actively attend
the required number of hours to be considered half-time
(for financial aid purposes: 6 credit hours for
undergraduate and 4.5 credit hours for graduate in an
approved half-time or full-time equivalent course). For
example, an undergraduate student enrolled in 3
semester hours in Summer session I and 3 hours in
Summer session II will have loan funds disbursed at the
start of Summer session II. All students who have split
enrollment should plan to pay for books and other
personal expenses in advance. Emergency loans (financial
aid advances) are not available during the summer term.

Students who will not reach half-time enrollment until
Summer II and have federal loans pending will not be
dropped for Summer I non-payment. The federal loan
will disburse at the beginning of Summer II.

UNCW Summer Sessions consists of two billing periods:
Summer I : E-Bill available May 2nd due May 22nd
