Dear Friends in CLC
We would like to wish you all, your
communities and your families a blessed Holy
Week and a joyful Easter in our Risen Lord !
This ikon shows Jesus on holy Saturday. We
think of him lying powerless and defenceless
in his tomb awaiting resurrection. On the
contrary, he is very active and busy at work.
He visits our darkness and our deaths,
ransoms and rescues each Man setting them
free from their bonds , sadness and sorrow.
He crosses our situations of suffering with us so that we can experiment His liberation.
United in the memory of our brother Nikola Trubic, that we may enter this mystery of Grace
and of new life in Jesus Christ , our Lord.

We are grateful to the CLC Community of Lithuania, who sent us this prayer, a gift for us
all.
O, Lord, what I have and want to ask for, how I have to pray, when I am distracted, flinged
and shaded by the daily round, submerged into myself? When I am as I am today, now?
I bless You, Lord and everything You give me.
I listen to You and watch for You constantly although I couldn’t.
I ask for forgiveness and I forgive – because of Your love, grace and mercy, because You
invited me to believe You saved us and our turbulent world. Amen.
