LUNGS AND RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
Animals including humans have to inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide in order to
stay alive. Inhale means to breath in and exhale means to breath out.
ASSIGNMENTS:

2) CLICK on the link below to take the quiz. BEFORE you take the quiz click on the PRINT icon at the
top right side of the quiz next to TEXT SIZE. When you click on that a new page will open. Now take the
quiz! Make sure to pay attention to the video you just watched in assignment #1 because you will need
that information to answer these questions. There are two questions that were not in the video so answer
those the best you can or perform a google search to find the answers. I would leave the video open in a
different tab so that you can go back to it just in case you need help to answer the questions.

3) AFTER you have taken the quiz go to the top of the internet page and click on FILE then click on
print and print the quiz you just took. This will print out two pages. Staple them together and turn them
in when you come back to school. I have also added the quiz to this Blizzard Bag just in case step 2 is
confusing and/or doesn’t work for you.
4) READ this article (four pages) and watch the short video clip that is on page 1 of the article. This

5) PRINT pages 3 and 4 of this Blizzard Bag and complete both pages. Turn them in when you come
back to school. Page three is a word search and on page 4 you need to label parts of the lungs.
6) COMPLETE these 4 exercises: 30 Jumping Jacks, Run in place for 1 minute, 20 lunges with each leg,
and 50 crunches. Have a parent or guardian sign the bottom of page 4.
