The award honors Herbert Montague “Monty” Richards, Jr., former President/ General Manager of Kahua Ranch, who is known for his pioneering efforts in high-intensity rapid rotational grazing techniques and diversified operations such as hydroponic farming. Richards is recognized and beloved as a lifetime community volunteer. One or more grants up to $30,000 will be awarded.
