Communications Internship at The Greater Tygerberg Partnership
Internship will entail:




Developing press releases out of GTP events and activities
Content development for GTP website
Attend events on behalf of the GTP in order to develop necessary post event write-ups
Assist project teams with communications of all projects and events
Requirements of applicant:



Relevant tertiary qualification in one of the related fields:
 Public relations; communication; journalism; copy-writing
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Must be able to work at all GTP events, some of which fall outside of working hours

Note:





Any form of relevant work experience (please detail within CV)
Strong written and verbal skills
Proof-reading, editing experience
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
Work well in a team environment
Commitment to timeous delivery of all press releases and articles
The ability to adapt to a range of events and take initiative in extracting valuable insights from
engagements
Although this position will directly report to our Marketing Department, requirements of the intern will
spread across GTP departments
Position available immediately; and for 3 months initially. Thereafter, candidate will be reviewed with the
possibility of extension of internship for one year
Stipend is R6,000 p/month
Position is full time
