BODM AS – The Order of Operations
If not sure – Bracket it! – It won’t do any harm!
When a computer performs a calculation it does it in the
order defined by BODMAS. This means:All formulas within brackets are calculated first,
followed by all division calculations, then
multiplication, then addition and finally subtraction.






