LOGLINE: A highly successful upper middle class woman with a loving family has her seemingly “perfect” world
turned upside down when the hidden secrets from her past suddenly resurface, forcing her and her beloved mother
into a painful examination of their lives, their relationship with one another, and their faith in God.
In order for Nocturnal Agony to become all that we believe that God has planned for it to be and for us to
achieve the ultimate goal of bringing our beloved film to audiences around the world, we are going to need
EVERYONE (producers, actors, crew members, investors, and supporters) to become actively involved in
its success. As you know, Nocturnal Agony deals with a number of social issues in the movie (such as
drug addiction, Bi-Polar Disorder, and child abuse). Without your assistance, many hurting people may
continue to suffer in the silence and shame that is all too common with these types of issues. We need for
each of us to become evangelist for the cause of Nocturnal Agony. How you can help:
SPREAD THE WORD: Many of us are active users of social media (Facebook, Twitter etc...). We ask that you will take each of our
posts and resend them to your network of friends, family and colleagues. We also will be sending out a number of e-mail blasts
announcing upcoming screenings, film festival appearances and events. We ask that you forward these e-mails to your contacts, post
them on Facebook, and tweet the subject matter and/or link. Each one of us who has a Twitter account should be followers
of Nocturnal Agony (www.twitter.com/nocturnal_agony) and we, likewise, should be followers of you. The same with Facebook. Each
of us should be fans of Nocturnal Agony (www.facebook.com/nocturnalagony). This way we can cross-promote the movie as well as
your individual activities and events. The director (Tim Story) of Think Like A Man talked about how actor/comedian Kevin Hart used
his Twitter account to keep fans informed and updated with the activities leading up to the theatrical release of the film. Due largely to
his activity the film grossed over $33 million dollars in the opening weekend! It's going to take some us to become like Kevin Hart to
bring OUR dream to reality.
SOLICIT THE HELP OF OTHERS: Many of us have TRUE friends who believe in us and who will do anything to support us in your
dreams. We need for you to ask them to help us in any way that they can. We need volunteers in DC/Baltimore and each of the select
cities that the movie will be released in to make phone calls, print and hand out flyers, send e-mails, and simply spread the word. If you
are a member of a fraternity, sorority, or social organization, they can be extremely helpful to our Nocturnal Agony cause. If you have
a friend or colleague who is connected to any of the national mental health organizations, women's help organizations or child
advocacy groups please put us in touch with them. We are seeking to partner with these types of organizations to host screenings and
"nights out" at the movie. We are also seeking to do the same with churches (especially "mega churches") in the DC area and around
the country. Sherwood Pictures (the producers of Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous) used a similar strategy with their first
film "Facing the Giants". The producers released the film in small select theaters throughout the "Bible Belt" south and churches would
host Facing the Giants "night at the movies". Although "Hollywood" rejected the film (saying that it was poorly produced etc...) the film
was so successful among its "core" audience that it grossed $10 million dollars in U.S box office receipts and over $20 million in DVD
sales. It's going to take a similar grass-roots effort for Nocturnal Agony to become even marginally as successful as Facing
the Giants. If you know of anyone that may be interested in partnering with us, please let us know.
FINANCIALLY SUPPORT: Due to the financial climate in the U.S and changes in the film industry over the past few years (such as
VOD, digital downloads etc...) that have affected the way studios do business, Hollywood distributors are no longer offering "theatrical"
distribution deals for small independent films like Nocturnal Agony and the amounts they are offering for DVD/VOD and cable
television rights has shrunk considerably. Anticipating this situation, we have developed a plan to distribute Nocturnal
Agony in "select" theaters across the country. We need to raise $95,000 and here are a couple ways we plan to raise this money:
"Fund-Raising" Campaign: We have launched an Indiegogo campaign (http://www.indiegogo.com) to aid in raising the necessary funds
to release Nocturnal Agony in select theaters across the U.S and Canada. Every dollar helps and no contribution is too small. Your
financial pledge will help us reach those around the country who may be struggling with one or more of the issues identified in this
motion picture. If we somehow come short of reaching our ultimate financial goal of $95,000 we will make adjustments to our budget
and continue with our goal of releasing Nocturnal Agony in theaters nationwide. Every dollar raised in this campaign will be used in
pursuit of this goal.
Investment Capital: There are still a small number of investment units (equity) still available for purchase in Nocturnal Agony. With
units selling for a few thousand dollars, this is both a sound investment opportunity and an opportunity for "small" investors to feel like
Hollywood moguls, and own a piece of a major feature length film that is scheduled for release around the country. If you know of
anyone who may be interested in joining our investment team, please let us know and we will send them a detailed "Investment
Memorandum".
We have a lot of work ahead of us but the future looks bright. We are destined to achieve our goal of bringing Nocturnal Agony to
audiences around the country and making it the hit sensation!

SYNOPSYS: Inspired by a true story, Nocturnal Agony is the tale of two women, "Lois" (Vernee Watson) a renowned evangelist who is
excitedly preparing for her retirement and her highly successful, upper middle class daughter "Patty" (Deidra LaWan Starnes). By all
accounts, Patty has it all: a successful career, a loving husband, a beautiful young daughter, an active church life and a gorgeous
home in the suburbs. But something is eerily wrong and it all comes to a head when Patty's seemingly "perfect" world turns upside
down. This traumatic event uncovers years of hidden family secrets including issues of substance abuse, child molestation, and BiPolar Disorder which forces Patty and Lois into a painful examination of their lives, their relationship with each other, and their faith in
God.
