1. The symbol for Wireless Network is in the lower right hand corner in what is called the Taskbar. To see the Wireless Networks that are available, click on the Wireless Network symbol. 2. If this window appears, click View Wireless Networks; if not go to point 3. 3. In the Choose a Wireless Network window, select eduroam and click Connect. Then click Change advanced settings. 4. Click on the Wireless Networks tab. Select the eduroam network in the box for Preferred networks and click Properties. 5. In the scrollable list for Network Authentication, WPA2 should be selected. In the scrollable list for Data encryption, AES should be selected. 6. Click the Authentication tab. Select Protected EAP (PEAP) in the scrollable EAP-type list. 7. Then click Properties. Highlight the boxes for Validate server certificate and Connect to these servers: type in the text radius1.lu.se;radius2.lu.se in the text field. Scroll down to AddTrust External CA Root and highlight box. In the scrollable list Select Authentication Method, select Secured Password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) 8. Click Configure, untick the box for Automatically use my Windows….. if it is ticked and click OK. 9. Close all other open windows by clicking OK. 10. A window now appears for Wireless Networks in the Activity field; click the Wireless Networks icon. 11. In the window that appears, type in the following information: User name: STiL ID followed by @lu.se Password: STiL password Logon domain: to be left blank Click OK. You will now be connected to eduroam. 12. If a window appears indicating Validate Server Certificate, just click OK.
