Promitheas Patras B.C. participates in the A1 professional division in the Greek league. Our
main purpose is to give the opportunity to all kids that want to play sports to join our club and
practice under great conditions and the instructions of an experienced coaching staff. Our
basketball academy consists of 250 young participants, 8 coaches, trainer, physiotherapist,
and a psychologist. The last season our under 18 team ranked 4th in the Greek
championship while our under 16 team won the silver medal and ranked 2nd in the Greek
championship. Also participants of our academy attending the private school “Panou”,
ranked in the 2nd place in the Greek school championship and won the silver medal.
THE PROMITHEAS INTERNATIONAL SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP
The Promitheas Basketball Camp is a great way to promote basketball and develop long
lasting friendships between Greek and Norwegian youth, learning at the same time from each
other's culture. Through specialized training, young athletes (10-17 years old) learn the
principles of basketball and get the chance to improve their individual skills. Through our
cooperation with Nesodden IF Basket we had the opportunity to organize basketball camps in
the end of July 2014, 2015 and at the end of June 2016 we organized a basketball camp in
cooperation with Bøler Basket at Patras. All young participants, Greeks and Norwegians, had
the chance to train together, spend time at the hotel area and develop not only their basketball
skills but also long lasting friendships.
Ultimately, the mission of the Promitheas Summer Basketball Camp is to strengthen the love
of children for basketball and sports in general, improve their individual basketball skills
while providing them an unforgettable experience.

UNIVERSITY INDOOR/OUTDOOR ARENA OF PATRAS
The University Sports Centre is located on the east side of the campus and comprises a cluster
of fully renovated sports areas, such as an indoor basketball and volleyball court with stands
and electronic scoreboards, a gym and locker rooms. It also features high-standard outdoors
sports areas for games, such as a soccer field and modern infrastructure for athletics
competitions, outdoor tennis and basketball courts. All sports facilities comply with the
standards set by the General Secretariat of Sports.

Located at Proastio, in the suburb of Patras, in a quiet location, near the sea with breathtaking
views and fresh air, one kilometer from the Rio and just four from the city center. The hotel
rooms are spacious with modern decoration. Every little detail marks its presence via its
aesthetic and functional fibre composing a harmonious, comfortable and hospitable ambience
that reflects leisure and high accommodation standards. All our rooms have a balcony with a
view to the sea and many of them to the gorgeous Rio – Antirio Bridge. The restaurant is
found in the Hotel's central building and it can accommodate up to 350 people and there is
