the animals. Following the examples shown in chapter 3 of our text and using the
information below, sketch a simple cladogram that relates the following groups of
plants: sporophytes; early angiosperms; gymnosperms; grasses; and green marine algae.
Separate each “branch point” on the cladogram with the name of the adaptation that
separates the group that is splitting off from the others.
