This week we will be going over the different air sounds (this includes ere, ear and
are). We will also focus on how ear how two sounds ( ear like ear and ear like pear).
Please learn your spellings for the spelling test on Thursday.

Year 1 have been working on writing their own stories. We have looked at the three
main parts of stories: beginning (where we meet the main character) the problem
(where something goes wrong) and the solution (when we fix the problem).
Year 1 have had some fantastic ideas about their main characters.

Information:
We have also redesigned the book area which is now been changed into “Planet
Underpants”. The children have now been writing their ideas about books they like
and why. Every Friday we will be picking three and then putting them onto a poster
on the Year 1 door.
