The Indian government has decided that this is one argument that it does not

and coffee are competing drinks and a declaration that either is the national drink is
controversial”. However, tea officials disagree, with the 8: ________ of the North
Eastern Tea Association Mr Barkakoty arguing, “People did not stop eating bananas

Did You Know…?
That even though India and x: _______ produce the most tea in the world,
other countries drink far more cups of tea. It is estimate that Irish people
drink between 4-6 cups of a tea every day, and around 2 kilograms of tea
leaves every year! In comparison Indians only drink around 800 grams per
year of tea. However they still drink far more tea than coffee – Indians
only consume around 85 kg of z: _______ per year!
