MODIFICATIONS IN HOUSE
AT ROTOR (UK) LIMITED
Our Warehouse staff are able to modify motors at a short
notice. Our stocking facility comprises of around 15,000
motors and 500 frequency inverters, also suds pumps and
geared motors. In order to keep the stock minimal, it is vital
to keep a large stock of flanges and accessories to modify
motors. Besides flanges, our modification facility allows us
to fit thermistors, anti-condensation heaters, retro fit brakes
and build geared motors. We modify rotor nl® motors as
well as Siemens motors. Rotor (UK) Limited is a certified
modification partner for Siemens.
Below I outline targets, which we endeavour to meet
providing that the warehouse personnel are working at full
capacity. Please note that wherever absences or staff
holidays are limiting the number of personnel, our technical
team would advise you accordingly.

We at Rotor (UK) carry out the modifications on EFF1
and EFF2 motors but not on ATEX motors.
We therefore are looking for a partner, who is ATEX
certified as well as experienced in explosion-proof
motor modifications and repairs in order to be
appointed by our head office to modify rotor nl®
explosion-proof motors on our behalf.

Launching a new product range is never easy but very
exciting and can be quite risky. We have been active in
the electric motor industry since 1960' here in the UK and
during various stages of our existence, we promoted
various manufacturers. We have however remained loyal
to the same manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic,
which was established in 1904. Last year, the factories
celebrated their 100 years' anniversary in 2004 and we all
are looking forward to the next 100 years to come.
The basic parts of rotor nl® motors are yet again made in
the same factory but the specification of the standard
range differs from the previous ranges that Exico, later
Rotor (UK) Limited promoted and sold to the UK market.

Although the early February snowfall brought much
disruption to the businesses throughout the UK it also
brought some joy and fun! We are proud to present
you with the Rotor (UK) corporate snowman built by
our staff during the lunch hour (of course)!

Wrexham Electrical Repairs Limited
Wrexham Electrical Repairs Limited was established in 1979 by Terry Lloyd, George Hughes and Ronald
Cummings. Since then, they have created a reputation for specialising in the sale and repair of all types of
electric motor, gearboxes, pumps ad associated machinery on a 24-hour basis. 'We are able to maintain
this reputation by responding and adjusting to the differing requirements of our customers. We offer on site
survey breakdown services, and carry a large stock of new and reconditioned motors and associated spares
aimed at keeping any downtime to a minimum. We began stocking the MEZ range, later Siemens since
1980 and later the M Series range. Although Siemens is a very known brand, the fact that the Siemens
factories make so many motors, means that a smaller factory which Rotor have in Holland is far more
flexible. Instead of being one of many stockists of Siemens, some being supplied by Rotor's competitors,
I have now joined the rotor nl® distribution network. My 'rotor nl®' competitors are now strategically located
around the country which means that I do not have direct brand competition in my area.
Rotor motors are very much like the old MEZ motors, which I stocked and sold for many years and one of
