A new way of reporting in Years 7 and 8
WHAT IS FEEDBACK
FORTNIGHT?
• Teachers will send work home
with comments to show how
well students are doing.
• Parents/carers will have the
opportunity to feedback to
teachers through a form.
• This will happen twice a year.
WHY FEEDBACK FORTNIGHT?
• Real time situation
• Dedicated time to look at the work that your child has been producing
• Create another opportunity to converse with teachers
• Replacing reports
• Starting an important learning conversation
• Including parents more in their child’s education
TIMING
• Twice a year
• First fortnight starting 4th December.
NOT JUST EXERCISE BOOKS…..
• Work sent home could be Assessment
folders, work done online etc.
PARENTAL INPUT
• Let us know what you think of your
child’s work.
• Are their any comments you would like
to direct to the teacher?
• Please look at all work that your child
brings home and help us help your child
achieve their potential.
