The Morse code uses sound or light to send messages. The Morse
code for the letters SOS is used as a signal for help. SOS in Morse code is
written like this:

SOS can be sent with light by sending three short flashes, three long
flashes, then three short flashes. It can also be sent with sound like a horn
or whistle––three short blasts, three long blasts, then three short blasts.
