The whole congregation is invited to come and journey together during Lent. Henry Mbambo World Prayer Day: St Paul’s Church on Friday 4th March at 10.00 am. Theme: “Receive Children, Receive Me”. Meeting: A congregational meeting will be held on Sunday 28th February following the morning service of worship. The topic to be discussed is the reinsurance of Hickman hall. At the last Parish Council meeting it was moved that the following motions be debated at a congregational meeting: (1) That Hickman hall be insured for indemnity value only. (2) That Parish Council accepts that indemnity means that, in the event of serious damage, the insurance payment is unlikely to cover the cost of repairs, and so it is taken in the knowledge, that the building will not be reinstated or replaced. Allan Lilley P C Chairman EXPLORE continues the theme of the choices we can make in our faith, and looks at 'new possibilities.' There is no limit to what God can do in your life. God opens doors that no one can shut, and closes doors that no one can open. With God the possibilities are endless when we live according to His will. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Sunday 28th Feb at 6.00 pm at Peter and Sandy's house in Farm Road. Communion: With the retiring of Adeline and Alan Brown from the duty of preparation of the Communion elements every second month, it would be wonderful to have another couple volunteer to fill this space. Alan and Adeline would show you the ropes when they prepare them for the last time in the first Sunday in April. Please contact Henry Mbambo or Allan Lilley if you would be happy to fulfil this role. Rosters: There are new rosters out for vestry duties, door stewards, ushers and bible readers. Please pick these up from the notice table.
