The special SoftEdge (SE) with integral
anti-crash/collision protection makes the
new Kaba Kwikroll SE door much safer
and particularly cost-effective. Personal
protection is increased, damage and
downtime are for the most part avoided
and costly repairs become a thing of the
past. This ensures that operating and
production processes run virtually
trouble-free. A further argument in
favour of this new, efficient door system:
the high opening speed and above all the
fast closing cycle mean that heat loss
and draughts in the working environment
are noticeably reduced.

crash does not hold the process up - an
internal door must be operational again
as quickly as possible. Thanks to the
SoftEdge bottom profile with anti-crash
system, Kaba offers the optimum
solution: efficient and at the same
time safe.
On the KR515 SE door type, the stability of the curtain is
achieved via proven aluminium profiles and at the bottom by
the sturdy horizontal SoftEdge bottom profile.

Quiet and quick
In halls with a low noise level, a door should cause little noise
and also work quickly and reliably with strong draughts.
That’s why the KR530 SE door type is equipped with spring
steel wind protectors to give the curtain the necessary stability.
The speed of up to 3 m/s is achieved by the optional
frequency converter control.

Please note that the KWIKROLL is complete with a photocell within the side guides to protect any traffic that stops within the doorway and breaks the photocell
beam. Every KWIKROLL model is also complete with 0-60 seconds adjustable timer return, with the door closing at only 0.5M per second, to allow safe movement
away from the door prior to closing. The door system is further protected by a opto-dynamic bottom rail safety edge system that returns the door to the open
position should it sense and obstruction when closing.
