EXPOSURE
Human Health: Exposure to Pigment Blue 15 of personnel in manufacturing facilities is also considered low
because the process, storage and handling operations are under industrial hygiene considerations and
occupational satefy measures. Workers who might accidentally come in contact with the substance should
follow the safety and first-aid measures recommended in the Safety Data Sheet.
Environment: As Pigment Blue 15 is neither to be classified as dangerous according to CLP Regulation (EC) No
1272/2008 or Directive 67/548/EEC nor is assessed to be PBT or vPvB substances, no exposure assessment and
risk characterisation has to be performed.
RISK MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
The substance Pigment Blue 15, a copper phthalocyanine pigment, is not a dangerous substance according to
regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
Always apply technical measures and use personal protective equipment as recommended in the Safety Data
Sheet to minimize exposure. Observe the usual industrial hygiene measures. Remove soiled or soaked clothing
immediately.
STATE AGENCY REVIEW
