Customized Solutions Priced to Fit your Budget
Expertise in medical, property and liability insurance as well as travel assistance plans is unique
in the industry. We work with you to meet your specific needs, addressing your concerns and
designing creative solutions.
Our relationships with financially stable insurance carriers, all rated A or better by A.M. best,
permit us to design the wide-ranging coverage your program requires, coupled with fair and
accurate pricing that your budget demands.
Customer Service and Expertise You Can Count On

International experience is key to our ability to provide advanced insurance services for cultural
exchange programs. Our participants travel to 200 countries annually — from Costa Rica, to Italy,
to Brazil, to Egypt, to China. Our own international and sister offices give CISI direct connections
in UK, Germany, South Africa, Poland and Australia.
24-Hour Worldwide Assistance, 7 Days a Week, 365 Days a Year
Service during the coverage period is the most important aspect of what we offer. After all, what
good is insurance if you can’t – or don’t know how – to use it?
There are many obstacles with worldwide insurance, such as language barriers and
unfamiliarity with insurance procedures in some foreign countries. That is why CISI offers
24-7-365 worldwide assistance services—a resource for everything from a lost passport to an
emergency evacuation. Our assistance service has doctors and translators on staff, providing
toll-free, worldwide access to benefits, providers, and emergency assistance.
Flexible and Comprehensive Plan Options
“CISI was very responsive and helpful as
we started our international program.
We had tried other insurance companies
and were not successful. We had such
bad experiences with others that it was
hard to believe it could be so easy to
work with a company.”
—Crossroads C ommunity

“CISI was extremely easy and very affordable. When I found out I would not have
insurance coverage for an overseas internship, I panicked. A friend recommended
CISI, and I was relieved to find out how easy it was to enroll and that it would be
affordable for a student doing an unpaid internship. I thankfully didn’t end up having to use it, but it definitely contributed to my peace of mind.”
