Cecil C. Bowling 94 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away September 29, 2009 at his home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born July 26, 1915 in Prairie View, Arkansas, the son of James and Telitha Rhine Bowling. Cecil was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Prairie Grove where he previously served as an usher. He was a charter member of the Prairie Grove Lions Club. His most noteworthy achievement was the love and caring he had for all his family. Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, in 2001, his son and daughter in law, Ray and Cuba Bowling, two sisters, Goldie Shepley and Geneva Higginbotham and one brother Otis Bowling. Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Jimmie and JoAnn Bowling of North Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, David Bowling and his wife, Cynthia of Vilonia, Arkansas, Jim Bowling Jr. and his wife, Gay of Conway, Arkansas, Laura Quicksall and her husband, James of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Doug Bowling and his wife, Lisa of Moundville, Missouri, Eddie Bowling and his wife, Ginger of Tontitown, Arkansas, Gary Bowling and his wife, Christie of Bentonville, Arkansas, Traci Hartin and her husband, Chris of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; eighteen great grandchildren, Carolyn Bowling Jez and her husband, Daniel of MA, Joshua Bowling and his wife, Virginia of MA, Shana Bowling Toutont and her husband, Justin of MA, Zachary and Jacob Bowling of Vilonia, Arkansas, Craig and Callie Bowling of Conway, Arkansas, Christopher Quicksall of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Candace Bowling Dyer and her husband, Joshua of Moundville, Missouri, Dennis Bowling and his wife, Wendy of Moundville, Missouri, Hayden, Gracie and Noah Bowling of Tontitown, Arkansas, Chanse and Catherine Bowling of Bentonville, Arkansas, Bradley, Mattie and Taylor Hartin of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; six great great grandchildren, Elijah and Keagan Jez, Chayton Bowling and Jonas Toutont all of MA, Lucas Bowling and Tegan Dyer of Moundville, Missouri, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
