Projects will be due and presented on: October 30 & 31
Option 1 - Advertisement: create an advertisement (commercial, print ad,…) reflecting
knowledge of propaganda techniques, appeals and rhetorical devices.
Option 2 – JC Speech: rewrite Antony’s or Brutus’ speech, addressing change in audience, time,
and societal views, and reflecting understanding of appeals, rhetoric, and logical fallacies.
Option 3 – Movie Trailer: create a movie trailer enticing teenagers to watch a movie about talking
animals that really represent a political regime. Knowledge of propaganda techniques, appeals, and
rhetoric must be reflected.
Option 4 – Political Speech: analyze one political speech of your choice and write a speech
containing a counter-argument. You must keep in mind audience, purpose, and persuasive
techniques. Copy of original speech must be turned in with your written speech.
