What Do You See?
What Do YOU See?
A national interpretive exhibit for 4-H members
We each have our own thoughts, feelings and ideas that allow us to see
things in a different way. This exhibition challenges 4-H members to express
themselves creatively by answering the question: “What Do YOU See?”
This challenge can be interpreted in a variety of mediums such as jewelry
design, art, wood working, pottery, gardening, photography, dance, music and
other forms selected by
members. Exhibits should compel the observer to feel, think or be inspired by
the 4-H
members’ interpretation and expression in their chosen medium.
For more information or to submit your exhibit, contact:
Megan Brittingham: [email protected]
Brittany Johnson: [email protected]
Entries due July 6 via email.

Mule Days Auction
Saturday, June 14th is the annual 4-H pie and dessert auction at Jake
Clark’s Mule Days.
We need ALL clubs in the county to each make 4 or 5 homemade desserts
(pies are always preferred-but no cream pies) for a total of 25-30 desserts . The desserts are auctioned from 6 o’clock until all are sold– about 10 per hour. Help from members is also needed to walk
the desserts around for the bidders. Please sign up to help at the extension office, or with Patty or
Phyllis. A scholarship will be awarded each year to the applying graduating senior who has supported this fundraiser.
The money benefits all Park County 4-Hers as scholarships to attend college, trainings, events and
trips. Last year we made over $1100 – so help us top that this year!
If you cannot get your dessert(s) to the Clark's barn in Ralston by 6 pm on Saturday – please take
them to the extension office in either Powell or Cody on Friday the 13th….. Please help us out in this
fund-raiser. We would sure appreciate it. Please call Patty Brus 272-0832 or
Phyllis Ostrom 250-0880 if you have any questions.
A children's sized metal roping chute will be raffled off the next few
weeks leading up to the Mule Days in Ralston. The gates and chutes
are fully functional. Built to spec provided by rodeo professionals.
Look for displays at area banks and businesses. Tickets will be $5 a
piece/ $25 buys you 6 tickets.
These will be available at both Cody and Powell extension offices.
Winner to be drawn Saturday Night at Jake Clarke Mule Days.
