Join Librarian and National Park Service
Ranger for the Statute of Liberty National
Monument and Ellis Island at this multi-media
presentation about the history of immigration at
Ellis Island.
Since the birth of this nation, people from
all over the world have sought the liberty and
opportunities than can only be found in America
and millions of people would take the journey to
America through Ellis Island, the gateway to the
free world.
Dosik will show the film, “Ellis Island: Island
of Hope, Island of Tears,” featuring historic
footage of the immigrants’ journey. This film is a
tribute to the timeless and enduring spirit of the
American Dream.
